Celebrate Aurora Committee Thanks the Community
for a Memorable Patriotic Days 2025

The Celebrate Aurora Committee extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who came out and spent the Patriotic Days 2025 with us - from parades and kids’ activities to live music and fireworks - the energy all day was nothing short of amazing. 

This cherished tradition truly thrives on community spirit, brought to life by our incredible community sponsors, generous donors, and amazing volunteers - thank you for making this event possible year after year.

  • Grand Marshals Chris and Renee Shuck: your years of devoted service have enriched our town in countless ways.

  • Big shout out to the City of Aurora, Public Works Crew, and East Range Police Department — your efforts in keeping us safe, setting up, tearing down, and cleaning up after our celebration went above and beyond! Aurora Fire Department, thank you for  helping organize the Kiddie Parade, Kiddie Races, and Balloon Toss - The kids had an absolute blast participating in all the activities offered.

  • A sincere thank you to Jaxon Bruner, a talented 6th grader from Mesabi East School, for encapsulating the spirit of America through the 2025 Celebrate Aurora commemorative button.

  • A massive shout-out to NewRange Copper Nickel for being the major sponsor of the Ninja Anywhere obstacle course!  Your volunteers brought an experience to our community, allowing kids to unleash their inner ninjas.  Aurora Auto Value, thank you for your continued support with the 7th Annual Eino and Terry Koivisto Memorial Car Show - We welcomed an impressive lineup of 114 classic cars.

  • A huge shout out to Lori Harju and her team for their dedication in organizing the first Celebrate Aurora Bean Bag Tournament. Their efforts raised $440 of which was donated to the Aurora Area Food Shelf!  A special thank you to Dan Furry at Aurora Electric for helping power up Main Street! Your expertise and behind-the-scenes efforts are truly appreciated, and we are so grateful for your continued support in lighting up our community events.  

  • Axe-ceptional thanks to Next Door Realty for sponsoring the Forge Social Haus axe throwing on Main Street during our celebration! Your support helped us hit the bullseye and bring this thrilling event to life in Aurora. Northern State Bank of Aurora, a heartfelt thank you for providing a face painting station that brought joy and delight to our community.

  • Big thanks to Glenn Berts, City of Aurora businesses, and Midwest Coin Concepts for keeping the sawdust pile tradition alive and thriving! Your generous donations made this classic event a blast from the youngest to the young-at-heart.

  • A heartfelt thank you to the Aurora Public Library for providing engaging make-and-take craft, as well as introducing a bike decorating station for children to personalize their bikes as participants to the kiddie parade. 

  • Thank you and congratulations to our Miss Aurora and Little Miss Aurora candidates! Your participation helps build valuable leadership skills and empowers our youth to grow stronger, brighter, and ready to lead the future of Aurora.  We are proud of you!

  • A HUGE shout out  to our amazing local businesses, vendors, crafters, food trucks, musicians, and entertainers were the best! You brought the flavor, the beats, and the fun that made Patriotic Days 2025 a non-stop celebration.
